Singer/Songwriter Daniel De La Rocha's latest CD, Underdressed But Not Under Duress, is a funky, R&B, soulful mix of songs. Nathan co-wrote 2 tracks (Winning & Losing, and My Favorite Part of Me) plus provided backing vocals on four tracks as well. (Winning & Losing, Favorite Part of Me, Devil In Between, and You Won't Be Lying Here). The November 2008 release was recorded in Carrollton, TX at Nomad Studios around October 2008 and features Rocha's soothing vocals and searing guitar work. Nathan & Daniel's affiliation began in 2007 when Nathan moon-lighted in Daniels original Alt/Country band at the time, providing rhythm guitar and backing vocals. They also gave a handful of performances as a duo, featuring songs from each's respective catalogue. Daniel (under the name Josh Daniels) played electric guitar on four tracks from Nathan's The Feeling I Got project, then was also kind enough to have contributed electric guitar on The Weatherman from Nathan's (then unreleased) Dames Dreams and Other Dreary Things project. If you're ever around North Texas, look up this exciting performer and pick up a copy of his original music! |
